Medicare premiums for 2026, as well as the costs of Parts A, B, and D, have increased. Here is how much you'll pay in 2026.
Part A:
Hospital Coverage
Inpatient Hospital Stay Costs (per benefit period)
A benefit period resets 60 days after you’re discharged.

Deductible: $1,736 each benefit period

Days 1–60: $0 daily coinsurance

Days 61–90: $434 per day

After Day 90 (using lifetime reserve days): $868 per day
Skilled Nursing Facility Care Requires: a qualifying 3-day inpatient hospital stay.

Days 21–100: $217 per day
Part B:
Medical Coverage

Annual Deductible: $283 per year

After deductible: You typically pay 20% of Medicare-approved costs

Monthly Part B Premium: At least $202.90, depending on income

for both Part B and Part D prescription drug coverage.
